Our Rescue Journey

This is a typical journey of a rescue mission from the initial call for help to successfully rehoming the pet with their perfect owner.

All our rescues are health checked, spayed/neutered, de-fleaed, wormed, microchipped and socialised.

Spaying and neutering our rescues before they go to their new homes helps us to reach or goal of reducing the problem of abandoned and unloved pets.

.

Rescue

When a call comes in to report a sighting of stray animals we may have to set humane traps to catch them safely.

Health check

As soon as the rescues are able, we have them health checked by the vet.

Socialise

As well as the animal's health, it is important to interact with them and show them love, ideally so they learn how to get along with both animals and humans.

Neuter

When the rescues are old enough and well enough, they are spayed or neutered,

Vaccinate

We always make sure our rescues are vaccinated, wormed and microchipped.

Forever home

During the rescue journey we keep an eye open to re-home them with a matching owner who we have checked out for suitability.
