Luna

Hi my names Luna. I came into rescue just over a year ago after my owner sadly passed away. I came in with another cat called Lottie however we weren't close and I actually bullied her so the decision was made to separate us as we weren't reliant on each other. 

When coming into the rescue I was a super sassy madam, I hated people touching me, I'd often reject love & affection by slapping peoples hands away and trying to bite. The rescues worked really hard with me and they tell me I've come such a long way but sadly I have to still tell people I am indeed a 'bite risk' however please hear me out. 

I no longer really bite unless someone has done something to upset me, the thing that usually upsets me is stroking past my head & neck or fussing me for too long as I can get fed up however I usually will slap your hand away when I have had enough. I love love head scratches and the side of my neck scratched too, I love sitting on your knee and giving you affection. Deep down I am a softy I just lived quite a hectic life on the edge prior to all this and now I have settled, I am getting better. I just need a patient person who will read my body language, work with me and understand me & love me for me which is a loving sassy girl.

I don't like dogs nor do I care for other cats, I like sole attention and a quite stress free life. Visiting children would be fine should they know to leave me alone as I will just move & stay out of the way. Young full time children however, I would not be able to cope with. I haven't the time nor the patience for them. Never had to live with them nor do I want to but I have dealt with them in short time periods.
