Tarp

Tarp successfully went to his new home on the 19th of January 2024. Tarp was found as part of a litter of 4 babies along with their mother, all completely feral. Over time Tarp well and truly came out of his shell, he loved playing, socialising, cuddles and kisses and we just knew a home with other cats would be the best thing for him and he found a home with 4 other friends. His confidence after everything was something to be admired.

Tarp went into his new home like he had always been there and settled almost immediately. It was heart warming to see, he was the last of the original kittens captured here at Zoe's Ark so its wonderful to see him finally have a place to call his furrever home. We wish him and his new family every bit of happiness.

Tarp has now been at his new forever home for over a month now and here is what his new owner has to say about him:

Tarp took no time to settle, it felt like he already knew us. We have four other cats, two we say are his big brothers who love to give him a bath. He especially loves Finn, they trot about together, play fight, chase each other, chirp to each other and chill out together. Tarp owns all the beds, four fluffy donut beds, two hammocks and two on the cat tree but it's extra nice waking up with him on my bed. He loves going outside so much he jumps over the other cats as soon as the door is open. It is an enclosed garden so totally safe. He steals food, especially butter and bread if he gets the opportunity. Everything is tucked away in cupboards now. He did manage to get a small joint of beef on Sunday that was destined for the freezer, he looked so proud trotting about with it. Then he came proudly strutting in with a bag of crumpets. I've not had a meal in peace since he arrived, he wants to try everything including tomato soup. Bought an extra high safety gate to keep him out of the kitchen, that failed. He is the sweetest little thing and the perfect addition to our household. Thank you so much to Zoe and whoever else was involved in his rescue.

Edward & Esme

Edward & Esme came with their brother Emmett after being an accidental litter. It was quite obvious from the start that these two were the closest and needed to stay together. We actually had their father Bingo in too. Edward and Esme blossomed from weary kitties into the most wonderful kitties here. Their confidence grew and they're characters really started to show, super cheeky but super adorable.

Eventually one of our very own volunteers fell in love with them and could resist but to apply and take them home. It was a great happy ending for them. Seeing their photos and getting their updates are lovely and we couldn't be more happier for them both.

Hello everybody our names are Jake & Bella. We are brother and sister, we do have another brother but the rescue feels he would be happy to go to another home as hes the most confident out of us, however if you wouldnt mind a trio please dont hesitate to add Milos name on your application along with ours.

We have both really come out of our shells since being at the rescue and rather enjoy getting into allsorts here. We are super friendly, kind, caring & loving. We are litter-trained and have no accidents. We came from a home with a young child so we do have experience with children therefore we are happy to go into a home with those, we have adapted really well to joining the new cats here also so its believed a home with other cats is also fine for us however dogs, we have not been tested with and that area remains unclear.

We love a fuss & we come to see you as soon as you enter the room, we love sleeping on the bed with you, and attacking your feet, that is of course, once we are use to you however we are very forward in wanting to get to know you. Bella is more shy then me however her confidence has blossomed but we still want to stay together. We also don't have experience of the outside world so an indoor home would be much preferred for us unless there is a secure and safe back garden.

So if you have room for two loving, fun black kitties then we might just be the duo (or trio) for you! To apply for us please click the 'adoption' option below in quick links to bring up the adoption form now. Thankyou so much for your time.

Buddy

Buddy came to Zoes Ark through no fault of his own, he was signed over after his original owners dog apparently became allergic to them. From the get go Buddy was one of the most confident, loving cats we have had in our walls. His personality was contagious and he very quickly showed just how wonderful he was.

It wasn't long after we placed Buddy up for adoption that he was snapped up by a lovely girl who we knew would give him the world and boy were we right, they were made for each other and its great to see.

Delilah & Reign

The lovely Delilah & Reign came here to us at Zoes Ark from Manchester after being rescued by a lovely lady there. Reign was always such a shy boy, very nervous and reserved. As for Delilah, she was full of confidence and loved attention. We always knew that they would both need each other after surviving all they had together in they're short time on earth and we were so pleased to find that happy ever after for them.

Delilah & Reign were spotted by a lovely couple living all the way down in Margate and we set away one afternoon to take them down. They now live a life of luxury, living out their days spoilt rotten and happy. We couldn't ask for more for them.

Luna & Lola

Lola & Luna successfully went to their furrever home on the 24th February 2024. Lola & Luna were the sweetest of sisters with the biggest of hearts and we miss them very much here at the rescue, They were both super loving and it hasn't surprised me they have been snapped up. Lola & Luna were signed over to me after concerns were raised about their living situation, the owner allowed them to be taken from her care after not wanting them due to just having a new baby.

They have since settled in very very well in their new home where they are loved and cared for and also very happy. How could I ask for more?

Paws up for our baby girls.

Binx & Luna

Binx and Luna successfully went to their new home on the 26th January 2024. They've settled in very well and their new owner is absolutely made up with them. Binx & Luna both came to us after their owner was being sent to a different army barracks that didn't allow animals. It wasn't an easy decision and from the get go you could tell how loved and looked after these pair were. I'm very thankful to be able to update their original owners telling them that Binx & Luna have found their happy ever after. Another job well done and another happy ending. So happy for this lovely pair.

Mabel

Mabel went to her new home successfully on the 16th of January 2024. Mabel seemed to settle really quick with a lovely girl who quite clearly would do anything for her which is exactly what she needs and deserves. Its heart-warming to have someone look past her heart murmur and see the love she has to give and the love someone wants to give her.

Mabel came to us all the way back in November after being found taking residency in a gentleman's shed out of the cold. She was checked over buy a vet who then told us about her heart murmur. As well as this Mabel was also severely dehydrated, skinny & malnourished which we spend weeks slowly building her up so we didn't over-power her.

Mabel had successfully put on weight after a few weeks and wasn't dehydrated anymore which was great, so a happy ever after ending up in a furrever home is the perfect end to this story. Paws up for Mabel.

Bingo

Bingo went to his new home on the 10th of January 2024, a loving family home where he seems to have settled in really nicely. Bingo came into our care through absolutely no fault of his own, after being sold to his original owner as a female cat (which he has bought to keep his other cat company) it became very obvious once old enough he indeed wasn't female by the fact he ended up impregnating the other cat. Eventually the kittens were born and in result of this the female cat became very maternally aggressive towards him.

Bingo has been a character from the beginning here at the rescue, I've never known such a cheeky boy but we loved having him and are so happy he has finally founds his forever happy ever after with people who will love and adore him. Paws up for Bingo (now also known as Buddy).

Fudge & Smudge

Our lovely duo Fudge and Smudge left to start their new journey in their forever home on the 24th January 2024. They were huge characters here at the rescue and since their departure the rescue seems so so much quieter.

Fudge and Smudge seemed to have settled pretty well. The next task will be them introducing the family dog to the pair, who thankfully is already use to cats. They have went to a wonderful place and have become part of an amazing, thoughtful, loving family. Seeing the ladies excitement and hearing of her children's was heart warming and I have no doubt they will continue to find their place and live happily.

These two were part of an accidental litter and it has been an absolute pleasure watching the, grow into the crazy, wild pair they did. They are hugely missed but I am glad they have their very own furrever home now. Paws up for the lovely Fudge and Smudge.
