Teddy

Our beautiful lad Teddy came into us back in December 2024 after turning up as a kitten at a nice ladies house with his mum & siblings.

Teddy was a very shy, nervous and reserved cat but when a lady came to visit him in rescue his gorgeous looks and shy personality made her fall in love with him almost instantly & with that, before we knew it, Teddy was being reserved and preparations were put in place for him to go to his new furrever home once he was ready and here are his updates for you all.

1 month later:

Well officially one month of having teddy, what can i say im so happy at how close they both have become, they groom each other, they snuggle up together, they now share food bowls, almost mastered for the sit command with teddy for a treat, he now allows me to brush him out, hes still not sure about sitting on my knee or close by me but come bed time hes snuggled up beside me while cairo lies on the pillow, hes come on leaps and bounds 🧸
- Michelle

3 month update:

What can i say i feel like hes always been here, hes mastered sitting for a treat without a prompt now hes such a clever boy, he has now started to wake up for his breakfast and does my poor arm not know about it, hes now edging his way closer to me while i sit on the sofa on an evening sometimes he will snuggle up next to me on the bed at bedtime. He now also enjoys a brush out but only on his terms.I cant imagine my house without him now him and cairo have snuggles, groom each other and play together.
Lovely Teddys 6 month update:
Wow 6 months already were has that time gone, hes the sweetest boy and loves to play, loves been brushed, him and cairo love to play together and it does get a bit rough at times no damage done to any of my boys tho so they know there limits. They cuddle up together and the more i look at him the more i love him and id be totally lost without my teddy. He now comes downstairs when i have visitors to say hi and they all comment on how beautiful his colour is and his lottle chirp rather than a meow xx

Brian

Brian came into us just before Christmas of 2024 after he was found straying in a local Aldi wearhouse. The workers really liked him and decided to look out for him, feed him & make sure he was ok, however Brian's confidence soon start to grow &  before they knew it he was going under delivery trucks whilst they were dropping off the delivery which made them quickly worry for him & his safety so they decided to capture him and take him to the vets.

Once Brian arrived at the vets he was scanned and no chip was found, I was then called by the vets to see if we had room, which we did and Brian was brough into our care. Brian very quickly showed us how lovely he was and came in at the most perfect time.

A lady who lived locally had unfortunetly lost her cat, this cat was very well known round the village and it shocked many people, myself included... The women was crushed and missed him dearly, yet when I looked at Brain it was like looking at Casper. She decided she did want another cat as the hole Casper had left in her heart hurt so much, thats when I decided to take a risk and introduce Brian to her and she instantly fell inlove with him. So just over a month later Brian was going to his new home.
Here is his updates for you all.

1 month update:

Hi Zoe, update on Guss, he is a superstar, he has settled in so well, it is like he has been here for ever. He is he most chilled out cat, not bothered about the dogs and spends his days exploring the garden and sleeping on our bed with Summer our other cat, he loves a cuddle and follows us round the house. He has fitted into our family perfectly.
- Annabel

3 month:

Guss loves licking his dog brothers nose! I know weird, you gave me a dodgy cat lol. Xx

6 months later:

Our beautiful Guss, he has made him self at home, loves being outside but also loves bossing his dog brothers, I have never met a cat who is as loud and talks so much. We love him so much. Thank you Zoe, you have filled a hole in our hearts . Xxx

Amy

Our gorgeous girl Amy came to us back in October of 2024 along with one of her siblings. Amy and her 4 siblings turned up at a ladies house one day in July when we had actually turn up to collect 2 other sets of siblings that had also taken residency at this ladies house. All 3 mothers in total had quite clearly been caugh by the same gigantic male Mainecoon cat we knew was hanging around however due to space at the rescue and the fact we knew this lady would look after them until we could get the rest in it was decided to keep the kittens and mum cat there.

We then went back few months later to collect them and only managed to get both her and her other sibling who we then named Diaz. In this time they had suffered with some flu however the kind lady helping us also helped us by paying to have them sorted. Amy was a nervous girl, very scared however she showed so much potential which we were glad about. She came along well however was fond of fast movements.

Before we knew it there was interest and Amy went off to her new furrever home to live happily ever in February 2025 and what a life she's got.

Here is her updates for you all.

1 month update:

She is getting a lot braver, especially when food or treats are involved. We can now stroke her (onu her terms only) and she loves all the toys. From chasing balls around the house, running up and down the stairs and nearly cuddling up to Snickers. I have noticed a change in Snickers and he is a lot happier with a friend. I will try to get some photos, but she seems to sense when I get the phone out she runs and hides 🤣 Abbey (Amy) has had a bit of play and then my daughter was brushing her. Abbey loved it and she was even picked up just for a moment ❤️.
- Lynn

3 month update:

Omg how time has flown. She loves to play with balls and zoomies around the house with our other cat Snickers. Talks all the time to my daughter. She loves her food. This is a quick snap of her resting, which does not happen often. She is an absolute joy ❤️

Charlie

Lovely Charlie came to us in December 2024 after it was decided by the family they couldn't deal with her anymore as the 'dog had become allergic to her'. Though we didn't fully believe this, Charlie was so young we felt bringing her in was best as we did believe she would get snapped up.

Right from the get-go Charlies sweet, loving, affection personality came through and was just the cutest girl. All she did was purr and want cuddles + affection, there wasn't a bad bone in her body.

As we suspected Charlie was very quickly snapped up a just over a month later Charlie was being taken to her new home where she has settled in amazingly.
Here is her updates for you all.

1 month:

She’s definitely settled in. I just went to find her for an update and she’s come downstairs of her own accord! She’s still a bit wary of the dog but we’re just letting her deal with him at her own pace xx
- Rebecca

3 Months later:

Charlie is an absolute sweetheart and a total daredevil. She climbs anything, including loft ladders and door frames, explores everywhere, and loves hunting feet moving under duvets. She’s settled in beautifully with the other cats and our dog and joins in with everything. She has started exploring outside but doesn’t really go further than the garden. She isn’t really sure what to make of the chickens and is happier now that we have a chicken lockdown! When she wants cuddles she knows how to get the them and is just the sweetest, even climbing under the bed covers to get a cosy spot. Really, she’s just gorgeous, and we’re so pleased she’s here with us. 😍

Bill & Ben

Bill & Ben were brought into rescue back in July 2024 at only 2 weeks old along with their mum, auntie & another cat from the house hold. Bill & Ben weren't doing the best health wise & started to decline rapidly. Their eyes were sealed shut and once we managed to soak them and open them a lot of puss started coming out. They were struggling to put on weight and struggling to poo. Its was heartbreaking, so alongside feeding off their mum, we stepped in to also help hand rear them.

It was long time of uncertainty,  however we are so very thankful to say they made an amazing comeback and survived with lots of eyedrops & antibiotics. All we needed now was to find them the perfect home. Bill & Bens personality showed in everything they did, double trouble is definitely the way we would describe them, with the biggest hearts of gold. Bill and Ben were very well known at a local cafe near the vets, as when hand rearing them, they had to come everywhere with me, eventually when old enough the owner of the cafe would make them scrambled eggs to enjoy and help them get stronger, it was lovely, they really did spread joy wherever they went.

It took a couple months until we ended up finding the perfect home for the boys and I can honestly say for them it was worth the wait & I couldn't be happier, these quirky boys went to a quirky home and they now live happily ever after.

Charlie

Our super handsome half Mainecoon kitty Charlie came to us along with 6 of his siblings & half siblings back in July 2024. Though Charlie & his siblings were born in a home, a couple of days later they were removed out of the home by the 2 mother cats due to them actual being feral cats who were just being looked after by a lady who was trying to gain their trust. A few weeks passed and eventually the mother cats came back along with each of their babies where the lady then continued to look after & care them.

In the meantime she then contacted us to see if we could step in to help take some once they were old enough to leave mum, within this conversation it was mentioned how a ginger Mainecoon had been hanging around them all and it was clear to them he was an intact male, when we found out that most the kittens were then ginger it made sense very quickly who the dad was. Especially when we got our first photo of Charlie sent to us! There was definitely no denying it.

Once Charlie and his siblings came into the rescue it was clear these poor babies were scared and reserved, though they had knowledge of humans thanks to that lady, they still for the first 4 most important weeks of their lives, grew up ferally leaving them lacking certain skills or trust in humans. However with time, patience & looks of love they all started to come around, Charlie himself making the quickest and best progress. When I came time to finding up a home, he was snapped up immediately... Is it any wonder?

Here are his updates for you all.

1 Month:

Odin has settled so well and is so loving. He loves to play with our Charlie cat as they rush around the house and chase each other through the cat tunnels we have. They do cuddle up together on an evening and he has begun to sleep on the bed with the rest of the gang on a nightime. He has a new favourite toy of a Catnip hedgehog which he likes to throw around and carry with him. He has loved christmas attacking my christmas tree decorations and batting the baubles down my hallway. He loves to be at the centre of everything happening and has loved meeting all the family and friends over christmas. He is now using the automated toilet and uses the scratchy posts/boxes like a pro. He loves to eat and snuggle on your knee. We absolutely adore him ❤️
- Siobhan

Cheeky Charlies 3 month update:

Odin (formally Charlie) is such a little character. He is such a lovable mischief. He loves to be in the middle of everything happening and loves to sit on your knee and will pester everyone for tummy rubs. We recently welcomed a new baby into the home and he absolutely adores her, he likes to check on her when she cries and loves to join us for cuddles. I'm sure she has a best friend in him already. Odin enjoys trying to trip us up on the stairs, running around the house at night with our other cat and playing with his toys. He is the greediest of cats and always appears at dinner times and you can guarantee he will be in the kitchen if someone walks through. He always makes us laugh causing choas around the house. He is very much loved by the whole family. ❤️

Moxxi & Peaches

Our beautiful sister duo are off to their new home and we are truly so very excited for them.

Moxxi & Peaches were signed over to us in July 2024 along with Moxxi's two babies and another existing cat in the house hold after the owner started to realise she had to many cats within her house hold and it was becoming far to much. The lady was lovely and it was clear she love them all very much but she did indeed do the right thing, for the right reasons.

From the get go Moxxi & Peaches were super lovely & very sweet showing just how wonder they'd be as pets so its no surprise that they then were then picked. We look foward to getting their updates to share with you all soon.

Freeman

Our gorgeous boy Freeman came to us along with 6 of his siblings & half siblings back in July 2024. Though Freeman & his siblings were born in a home, a couple of days later they were removed out of the home by the 2 mother cats due to them actually being feral cats who were just being looked after by a lady who was trying to gain their trust.

A few weeks passed and eventually the mother cats came back along with each of their babies where the lady then continued to look after & care for them.

Once Freeman and his siblings came into the rescue it was clear these poor babies were scared and reserved, though they had knowledge of humans thanks to that lady, they still for the first 4 most important weeks of their lives, grew up ferally leaving them lacking certain skills or trust in humans. However with time, patience & looks of love they all started to come around.

Freeman was one of the most nervous in the bunch and we knew he'd need a household that would give him time and that is exactly what we were able to find him and as suspected, because of this hes blossomed beautifully.

Here are his updates for you all.

1 month update:
A little bundle of energy that spends every minute bouncing around winding the other cats up to play. He really enjoys sprinting around the bedroom at 0400. Hes very affectionate when he's tired, especially towards Megan. Like to lie on her lap on the sofa.
- David

Ruby

Beautiful Ruby came into us along with her siblings and mum after we found out about them being sold on facebook for free back in July 2024. All were signed over and brought back with us to the ark, we unfortunately lost one of her siblings due to them all coming out with the flu, he was just too weak anyway the flu took over and eventually we had no choice but to have him PTS to stop him struggling anymore then he was.

Thankfully the rest pulled through and became incredibly strong + well and that's when the perfect lady came along who fell in-love with Ruby immediately and not long after away she went to her new happy home to live happily ever after and she's absolutely thriving with her new big brother!

Here are her updates for you all!

1 Month update:

When I asked Zoe for a friendly loving kitten to join my older boy Jarvis aged 11 she recommended Ruby ❤️ My Ruby is a very special girl She sleeps on my pillow will let you pick her up for hugs and kisses and most of all loves her big brother but also respects him and gives him space . She loves to play with her toys has settled right in after 1 month can’t imagine my house without her ! Respect to all those cat rescuers out there and thank you Zoe for sending this bundle of joy to me xxx
- Zoe

Lovely Ruby's 3 month update:

My Ruby 😻😻 tiny girl Sleeps on my pillow on a night waiting for me to wake up and feed her ! She loves watching me put on my make up and loves watching any animals on TV Most of the day she’s sat looking out of the window watching birds and squirrels or sleeping next to her big brother 😻 She follows me around cant go to the bathroom without her . She loves her shower tray stage where she does some flower arranging 😹 She’s still scared of me when I wear boots and clothes runs and hides so my house attire is mainly my pjs and slippers to ensure hugs 🤗 Just love her and can’t imagine my house without her.

Narla & Pearl

Our beautiful duo Narla and Pearl came into our rescue alongside their sister Ruby and brother Flea after we had seen them being advertised on facebook for free back in July 2024. We were going to the area they were being advertised at and felt whilst their we might as well collect them and bring them into safety were they could be rehomed correctly and be checked over thoroughly.

Narla & Pearl were the cheekiest little girls and blew everyone away with their huge protruding eyes and sweet sweet nature but we had to hold off rehoming them for a while due to them becoming very ill with flu. Once recovered it didn't long for the purrfect family to snap them up and we were so happy & excited for them.

They are now living their best life and it is so wonderful to see & watch them grow knowing they went to the right people and here is their updates for you all!

1 month update:

The girls are doing really well. Happily chasing each other around, or playing with theirs/Bowie's toys the whole time! Very happily tuck into tuna and chicken whenever they can - they're both very fast at sticking their noses in the fridge whenever the door is open 🫣 and happy to try to eat Bowie's chicken too if he lets them! Pearl loves to be carried in your arms while Narla prefers to sit on your shoulder - but she's definitely a Daddies girl when it comes to watching TV either beside him or on his legs👏👏 They both also "chirp" when they want Bowie's attention, it's very cute - they are gradually becoming friends although he still likes to find his own space after he's been followed by them both for ages! Thanks again for letting them join our little family! They are beautiful like kitties! xx🥰💕
- Lorraine

Beautiful Narla & Pearls 3 month update:

The girls have both settled in beautifully, Narla thinks she's the boss of the whole house while Pearl can normally be found sat in either the bath or the sink playing with any drips of water she can find! They love to chase anything and anyone all day long then happily curl up in bed with Soph every night - they were even the stars on her 18th Birthday cake last week! They are both such lovely girls we're all so happy to have them in our family, thank you xx
