Hi all, my name is Martin. I came into rescue back in May 2025 after I was trapped by the RSPCA as part of a trap, neuter, release programme. Once I got into the vets and they dealt with me, they soon realised I was actually pretty darn friendly and though I was a stray, I definitely was not feral so the vets kindly found me a rescue space at Zoe's Ark Animal Rescue.
Since being at Zoe's Ark I have shown just how amazing I truly can be, however I have also shown how peculiar I can be & its clear I can't just be rehomed to anywhere. What I require is very precise, a home with a confident cat owner & no dogs or children. I can also be rehomed with other cats but they have to also be very confident. By confident what I mean is that if I deem you or you cat as weak I'm likely to be a little turd. At the moment I am living alongside another cat and this works as she is very good at keeping me in place & telling me off.
With people the reason I need a confident owner is because I am a very sensitive cat & I seem to really pick up on the people or things around me. Where most cats hate chaos or business I absolutely thrive in it. I got rehomed to a lovely family however their cool, calm life just didn't suit me & this in turn wound me up & caused me to end up biting them, yet in the rescues fast paste and constant daily coming & goings I seem to be really happy & I don't bite anyone as long as they match the energy & deal with me confidently.
Once we get past all that boring stuff, underneath you'll find a very sweet, fun, loving boy who loves to sit on your knee & get lots of head scratches. I love attention and to be around you and I really hope if you're a confident cat lover and cat owner you'll really think about giving me a chance as promise it will be worth it. I feel having me outdoor freedom back to will help my happiness as I did love the fresh air.
