Penelope came into us back in March 2025 after an elderly couple had been looking after her and feeding her for a couple weeks and started to worry for her safety living outside constantly as they lived near a very busy & fast road.
Penelope was so quick to show us how much of a lovely cat she was, it was clear she had been very cared for and loved. We had put a shout out to try and locate an owner but unfortunately at the time we never located one, a couple weeks had passed and we went forward with getting her ready for adoption and finding her the happy ever after she deserved.
It wasn't long at all until we found her just that and away she went to her new home in July 2025.

1 Month later:
Penelope's doing really well. Everything is great apart from she chases Mabel and Mabel seems scared of her. I don't know if penelope is wanting to play or sees Mabel as a threat because of her size. Matilda is the boss and Penelope knows not to push her luck lol. We bought feliway plugs to try and help with any anxieties. Penelipe is very loving with us and follows us around the house. She's not shown any interest in going outside yet and is still locked in.
